How do I become a volunteer?  

 

All applicants must complete an application.  The application should include a current resume (if applicable) and 3 references.  Download an application.  Applicants need to participate in an interview with the program manager (prior to attending the training).  The interview serves as a means to provide information to each prospective volunteer about the Mediation Program and expectations of volunteers.  Applicants will be required to complete a criminal records check form at the time of the interview.  All applicants must satisfactory complete the training program.  (Click here for more information about the Volunteer Training Program). Volunteers make a commitment for one year to the Mediation Program.  At any tine during the interview, training or internship, the program manager reserves the option of terminating prospective volunteers.
